BEECROFT WOMBATS FOOTBALL CLUB

Beecroft Wombats Football Club is a family oriented club with a history of more than 50 years. Our objective is to provide a forum for all players to maximise their enjoyment of football, to develop skills and fitness, while ensuring that the game is played in the true attitude of sportsmanship. Football is a team sport and we emphasise that players, coaches, managers and supporters understand and learn through this, in a welcoming and supportive environment for all.

Beecroft Wombats Rugby Club

Beecroft Rugby Club was formed as an entity in 1998. It has quickly developed to the stage where it now caters for six Grade teams and two Colts teams in the premier 1st Division level of the very competitive NSW Suburban Rugby Union Competition.

Eastwood Ryde Netball Association

Eastwood Ryde Netball Association is one of the largest Netball associations in the Netball NSW competition. With teams from U7s through to right through to seniors teams & a very successful representative team it is arguably one of the best run Netball associations in the country. Eastwood St Andrews Football Club

Eastwood St Andrews Football Club are one of the largest clubs in Gladesville-Hornsby District with teams from Under 6 to Super League 1. Catering for all standards of ability and providing weekly coaching for teams on Eastwood Oval in preparation for Saturday matches that are held at various grounds throughout the district.

Epping Bulls Cricket Club 

Epping District Cricket Club was established as the Epping Municipal and Shires Cricket Club on the 21 July 1993 by MR S. A. Story. They have a host of grade cricket teams as well as an under 24s team. The Mighty Epping Bulls trains every Thursday night at Epping Oval. A better known name to come from Epping Cricket is Dave Gilbert who represented Australia for 9 tests.

 Epping YMCA Football Club

Epping YMCA Football Club are based at the iconic YMCA facilities. The club has an enormous array of teams from U6s through to their senior teams and have both men's and women's teams within the GHFA competition.

Epping Eastwood Tigers

Epping Eastwood Tigers were established by Herbert Lincoln Gilmour and his son Keith in 1952. A club rich in history the hotel is a proud sponsor of the Super League First and Reserve Grade Teams.

Gladesville Sharks Football Club

Gladesville Sharks FC is one of the most well established clubs within the GHFA association. The club has teams in both the mens and womens competitions as well as running a summer competition.

 Hillview Rugby Club

The Hillview Rugby Eastwood Football club is based at Marsfield Park. Teams range from U6 - U11s, with all the teams training every Thursday at their home ground in Marsfield.

Holy Cross Soccer Club

Holy Cross Soccer Club was formed in the early 1970s by a group of parents keen to get involved in sports. In 2010, registrations were up to 280 junior players and 101 senior players. The club's home ground is at the Holy Cross College located in Ryde.

Macquarie Dragons Football Club

Macquarie Dragons Club started in the early 1970s. The club has eleven junior teams as well as a number of senior teams. The club also runs summer soccer (6 a side) based at Waterloo Park, which has proven to be a huge success.

Macquarie Saints Baseball Club

Macquarie Saints Baseball Club formed in 1993. The club has 200 junior members and 100 senior playing members. Macquarie Saints are based at Pioneer Park and Waterloo Park, both in Marsfield.

Macquarie University Soccer Club

The Macquarie University Soccer Club is a university sports club with both men's and women's teams in the Gladesville Hornsby Football Association Winter competition. Training is held on Monday and Wednesday nights and game days are Saturdays and some Sundays.

Macquarie University Cricket Club

The First ever recorded game for M.U.C.C was in 1967. Between 1977 - 78 say all three grades make it to the semi finals and placed 4th. To date there are 6 Senior Teams and a masters team over 40). MUCC train Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30pm onwards at the University Oval Nets.

Macquarie University Hockey Club

If you're looking to combine your hockey skills with fun and friendship, then the Macquarie University Hockey Club is for you!

The club includes everyone from beginners through to professionals, with womens and mens teams catering to all levels of experience. The club has 5 womens teams and 3 mens teams, and consists of 120 members.

Macquarie University Ultimate Frisbee

The Macquarie Frisbee Club enters two mixed teams in the Sydney Northern Suburbs League, providing ample opportunity to test your skills in a competitive environment.

Macquarie University Water Polo Club

The Macquarie University Water Polo Club is an exciting sporting and social club where future, past and present students have the opportunity to learn more about water polo and represent Macquarie.

Marist Dragons Boating Club

The club has formed as an extension of the Marist Sisters Dragon Boating Team. It comprises of students, ex-students from many schools around the Eastwood, Ryde, and Hunters Hill area, as well as parents and family members.

North Epping Rangers Soccer Club

North Epping Rangers Soccer Club was founded in 1963. The Rangers currently boast 52 football teams; 14 minis (4 - 8yrs), 17 junior (9 -18yrs), 6 men's (super league, all age and over 30s) and 7 women's (all age and over 30s) teams.

Marsfield Bluebelles Netball Club

The Marsfield Bluebelles Netball Club is based in the Eastwood and Marsfield areas. MBNC are a family oriented club with an emphasis on children playing for enjoyment. The Club has enjoyed a close relationship with Eastwood Heights Public School for over the past 15 years. Prior to this the club was operated out of the homes of the founding members, who lived locally.

North Ryde Hawks Junior Rugby League

North Ryde Hawks were established in the early 60s by Bob Clayton. The Hawks home ground is located at TG Milner Sportsground. Teams range from U6-U13.

North West Sydney Koalas

The NWS Koalas came into being as Gladesville-Hornsby Koalas in 1999. The Koalas were admitted to the State League competition, which was the second tier level. It was just a senior squad competition with first and reserve grade. In the first year we came 7th (out of 8). The following year we came second and gained promotion to the then Super League in 2001. We were renamed NWS Koalas in the same year. In 2002 we introduced 16s and 14s and then 12s the following year. NWS Koalas have won the club championship three times over the last five years and have won numerous junior competitions. We have finished as runners up in first grade three times. The Koalas are part of the North West Sydney Women’s Football (NWSWF) which has 3,200 participants varying from under 8's to Over 35s.

The Koalas are unique as the only women’s only association football club in Sydney fielding teams in the Premier League. The Koalas broke new ground six years ago with the introduction of a free junior development programme for girls under 12 years of age. This was a natural progression from our holiday coaching clinics which had been conducted of the past 14 years.

Ryde Hunters Hill Hockey Club

Ryde Hockey Club was formed in 1934. The club has mens and womens masters and junior teams all with varying grades.

Ryde Rugby Club

Ryde Rugby Clubs home ground is located at Ryde Park. The club fields Walla (U6 and U7) and mini teams (U8 and U9) as well as their Junior teams (U10 and above).

Ryde Panthers Football Club

Ryde Panthers Football Club (formerly known as Ryde District Soccer Club) is a club rich in history within the Ryde area. The club participates in the Gladesville-Hornsby Football Association competition for mixed soccer and in the North West Sydney Women's Football competition for women.

PTJ Muay Thai Gym

PTJ (Photajaroen) Muaythai Gym offers people of all ages and experience levels the opportunity to learn the art of Muaythai in a safe, friendly environment.

The gym aims to give students the opportunity of being able to learn authentic Muaythai techniques, with the assistance of sport science training principles.

YMCA Epping

For over 50 years, the YMCA has long been an integral part of the Epping community. It has been a cornerstone of community engagement and connection; a place where many have learnt gymnastics, gone to vacation care or participated in sport. In 2012 the Y announced a $1 million dollar redevelopment which saw the family centre transformed into a modern community hub with a brand new health club.

Spirit Football Club

Spirit FC is the representative club of the Gladesville Hornsby Football Association (GHFA). Spirit FC is made up of a range of teams from juniors through to their senior team which competes in the NSW Premier League.

Tigers Baseball and Softball Club

Tigers Baseball and Softball Club are based in Sydney, Australia. We cater for all ages from 5 years to 50 years and promote a strong community environment where just getting involved is the most important thing. We draw most of our players from the following areas: Epping, Eastwood, Beecroft, Cheltenham, Carlingford, Denistone, Meadowbank, West Ryde, Ermington, Rydalmere, Dundas and Parramatta.

YMCA Ryde

Ryde Community and Sports Centre (RCSC) is a recent addition to the community of Ryde, managed by the YMCA in partnership with the City of Ryde. The Centre is located in the vicinities of the well known ELS Hall Park precinct.
